inSome interesting stuff in the trash — some old wooden doors and some old terra cotta tiles from inside the walls.
The front sidewalk is getting a super rebuild job. This black color stuff is some sort of sealing treatment.
The Minna Street side is just at the demolition stage.
For the first time ever — and for the last time for the next two years — I got some shots of 140 from the Museum of Modern Art building’s sculpture garden. After this weekend, the museum will close for its big renovation and expansion, opening once again in January 2016.
The St. Regis, also seen from SFMOMA’s sculpture garden.
And The Panorama just beyond the St. Regis.
Window installation is nearing the top.
But these unusual window spaces still await their debut.
The rebar has already been placed and concrete poured for the first layer of the courtyard surface. It is covered up while it cures further and other work continues.
The coolest — and surely the strongest — crane base ever constructed.
